Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate Harvest and Delivery With a Neonatal Nasogastric Tube: A Simple Technique in Hip Arthroscopy

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, Volume 14, Issue 5, May 2025.
Abstract In the past 10 to 15 years, there has been an increasing interest in using orthobiologics to address pathologies of the hip. The use of bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) showed greater functional improvement in patients with moderate cartilage injuries who had a labral repair than patients without BMAC injection.

Postless Hip Arthroscopy for Labrum Reconstruction and Labrum Augmentation

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, Volume 13, Issue 11, November 2024.
Abstract Hip arthroscopy has been shown to be an effective surgical treatment with excellent outcomes and a low percentage of complications; however, there are published data regarding iatrogenic complications with hip distraction. Everything, everywhere, but not all at once? Time, contingency and the open future

open access: yesJournal for the Theory of Social Behaviour, Volume 54, Issue 3, Page 301-318, September 2024.
Abstract The subject of this special forum is contingency and the openness of the future, and in this essay we take a route not often travelled in regard of these and focus first on philosophy of time. We contrast static and dynamic theory of time in order to (eventually) acquire some traction on the meaning of both contingency and the open future.

Postless Distraction Technique With No Additional Equipment in Hip Arthroscopy

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, Volume 13, Issue 6, June 2024.
Abstract Hip arthroscopy has become a predominant treatment for hip disorders such as femoroacetabular impingement syndrome and labral injury, and appropriate distraction for the hip joint is necessary for successful surgery. Does the composition of meteoritic metal change with forging? An experimental study

open access: yesMeteoritics &Planetary Science, Volume 59, Issue 6, Page 1495-1505, June 2024.
Abstract The use of meteoritic iron in the manufacture of human artifacts since the Bronze Age has been well documented, including the iron blade of Tutankhamun's dagger. Whereas the preservation of textures and mineral inclusions suggest relatively low temperature (<950°C) working of meteoritic metal used in artifacts, higher temperature working—that ...

Natural dyeing of air plasma‐treated wool fabric with Rubia tinctorum L. and prediction of dyeing properties using an artificial neural network

open access: yesColoration Technology, Volume 140, Issue 1, Page 91-102, February 2024.
Abstract In this study, the ecological dyeing process of wool fabrics was investigated. Wool fabric samples were treated with atmospheric pressure plasma‐jet and corona discharge plasma to modify the surface to make the process sustainable and greener. The samples were dyed with the aqueous extract procured from the powdered roots of Rubia tinctorum L.
