Asymmetrical TWDM-PON with 100-Gb/s downstream DSB OFDM and 40-Gb/s upstream OOK modulations
We propose and experimentally demonstrate an asymmetrical TWDM-PON scheme with 4×25-Gb/s downstream DSB OFDM modulation and 4×10-Gb/s upstream OOK Modulation. More than 35.5-dB power budget for bidirectional transmission is demonstrated. ?
