Clad Strip Casting Using a Twin Roll Casters
The three layers clad strip was fabricated by a vertical type tandem twin roll caster for clad strip (VTTCC). The effect of the casting conditions of the base strip and the overlay strip on the interface between the base strip and the overlay strip was ...

The interfacial stability and activity of Ni‐Fe‐based AEMWE anodes can be directly enhanced by operando voltage‐cycling in a FeOOH‐containing electrolyte. This process simultaneously induces Ni oxidation and Fe incorporation, forming an integrated, porous (Fe, Ni)OOH layer with high conductivity and durability.

Interpretable machine learning reveals how composition and processing govern the formation and microstructural burden of Fe‐rich intermetallic compounds in recycled Al–Si–Fe–Mn alloys. By separating morphology selection from morphology‐conditioned burden partitioning, this framework shows that identical Fe contents can yield different intermetallic ...

Metallurgical Method of Determining Heat Transfer Coefficient in Simulations of Twin-Roll Casting
We herein suggest a metallurgical method using pure aluminum with no freezing temperature range to derive appropriate roll/melt interfacial heat transfer coefficients in simulation of twin-roll casting process. This method is inspired by the concept that

ZrO2 Aerogel‐Supported Pd Nanoparticles for Photothermal CO2 Reduction
Nanoparticle‐based aerogels are promising catalysts for photothermal reactions due to optical transparency, high surface area, and low thermal conductivity. Here, we present deposition of Pd nanoparticles on ZrO2 aerogel granules by a wet‐impregnation approach.
