Leaftronics: Bio‐Fractal Scaffolds From Leaf Venation for Low‐Waste Electronics
“Leaftronics” transforms naturally evolved leaf venation into quasi‐fractal scaffolds for sustainable electronics. Polymer‐infiltrated leaf skeletons can be used to fabricate ultra‐smooth, reflow‐ and thin‐film‐compatible decomposable substrates, while making the same lignocellulose networks conducting results in flexible transparent electrodes.

150 cm wide AZ31 magnesium alloy sheet was produced by twin roll casting. The sheets of 6 mm thickness were cast. The sheet material was characterized using various techniques including metallography and XRD.

Self‐standing, strong sulfonated covalent organic framework membranes with varied ionic‐group density are developed for osmotic energy conversion.
