[001]‐oriented Sb2Se3 film with improved crystallinity and adjusted composition is achieved via a new thermal treatment approach consisting of preliminary annealing of the Sb layer before its selenization. The findings of this work demonstrate enhanced charge carriers' transportation, a stable performance, and an improvement of H2 generation from ...

We calculate the time-like pion electromagnetic form factor in the kT factorization formalism with the inclusion of the next-to-leading-order (NLO) corrections of the leading-twist and sub-leading-twist contributions.

Low‐Symmetry Weyl Semimetals: A Path to Ideal Topological States
This study presents a theoretical framework for realizing ideal Weyl semimetals, where Weyl nodes are well‐isolated at the Fermi level. The approach is exemplified in the low‐symmetry material Cu2SnSe3, which exhibits tunable topological phases, current‐induced orbital magnetization, and a strong circular photogalvanic effect, making it a promising ...

Theory of microphase separation in bidisperse chiral membranes
We present a Ginzburg-Landau theory of micro phase separation in a bidisperse chiral membrane consisting of rods of opposite handendness. This model system undergoes a phase transition from an equilibrium state where the two components are completely ...

Twisted Superconducting Semilocal Strings [PDF]
A new class of twisted, current carrying, stationary, straight string solutions having finite energy per unit length is constructed numerically in an extended Abelian Higgs model with global SU(2) symmetry. The new solutions correspond to deformations of

This study investigates H4TBAPy‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) ‐ NU‐1000, NU‐901, SrTBAPy, and BaTBAPy ‐ for multiphoton absorption (MPA) performance. It observes topology‐dependent variations in the 2PA cross‐section, with BaTBAPy exhibiting the highest activity.

Nanometric pitch in modulated structures of twist-bend nematic liquid crystals
The extended Frank elastic energy density is used to investigate the existence of a stable periodically modulate structure that appears as a ground state exhibiting a twist-bend molecular arrangement.

Twist modulated phases in chiral smectic liquid crystals
By considering short period helical planar modulations about the layer normal, we construct a model free energy for the ferriclinic phases observed in chiral smectic liquid crystals. We then use this free energy to construct the phase diagram for our model.

Phase structure of twisted Eguchi-Kawai model [PDF]
Twisted Eguchi-Kawai model is a useful tool for studying the large-N gauge theory. It can also provide a nonperturbative formulation of the gauge theory on noncommutative spaces. Recently it was found that the Z_N^4 symmetry in this model, which is crucial for the above applications, can break spontaneously in the intermediate coupling region.
