Synchronizationmechanisms of resonant limit cycle on two-dimensional torus [PDF]
Summary: We investigate synchronization of a resonant limit cycle on a two dimensional torus by an external harmonic signal. The regime of resonant limit cycle is realized in a system of two coupled Van der Pol oscillators, we consider the resonances 1:1 and 1:3. We analyse the influence of the generators coupling strength.

Modularity of supersymmetric partition functions
We discover a modular property of supersymmetric partition functions of supersymmetric theories with R-symmetry in four dimensions. This modular property is, in a sense, the generalization of the modular invariance of the supersymmetric partition ...

Objective The study aimed to identify symptom‐based predictors of dry eye disease (DED) signs in the Sjögren's International Collaborative Clinical Alliance (SICCA) cohort. Methods We performed a retrospective analysis examining 16 ocular symptoms (most graded 0–4) and artificial tear (AT) use (graded 0–3) as predictors of DED signs (abnormal ocular ...

BMS modular covariance and structure constants
Two-dimensional (2d) field theories invariant under the Bondi-Metzner-Sachs algebra, or 2d BMSFTs in short, are putative holographic duals of Einstein gravity in 3d asymptotically flat spacetimes.

In this review, the current state of light‐assisted 3D printing as it pertains to engineering musculoskeletal tissues including bone, cartilage, skeletal muscle, tendon, and ligaments is summarized. Common printing techniques, photoreactive materials, and study design choices are compiled and reviewed.

Topological and Emergent Phenomena in Lattice BKT Systems [PDF]
This thesis addresses the emergent electrostatics of two-dimensional, toroidal magnetic models that possess XY symmetry, providing a platform for novel investigations into the Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless (BKT) phase transition.

Fatigue Crack Initiation and Growth in Nanocrystalline Ni at Multiple Length‐Scales
Overview of miniaturized in situ SEM fatigue setup and resultant fatigue crack growth data for nanocrystalline Ni. The presented study focuses on the analysis of fatigue crack growth rate (FCGR) in focused ion beam‐notched microcantilevers prepared from nanocrystalline (NC) Ni as a model material.

Deterministic and stochastic perturbations of area preserving flows on a two-dimensional torus [PDF]
We study deterministic and stochastic perturbations of incompressible flows on a two-dimensional torus. Even in the case of purely deterministic perturbations, the long-time behavior of such flows can be stochastic.
