Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Quantum resources for a system of two atoms interacting with a deformed field in the presence of intensity-dependent coupling

open access: yesOpen Physics
This study explores the dynamics of a two two-level atomic system interacting with a parity-deformed field, modeled as a coherent state. By varying the parity deformation parameter and incorporating the effects of intensity-dependent coupling, we examine

Protecting the Quantum Coherence of Two Atoms Inside an Optical Cavity by Quantum Feedback Control Combined with Noise-Assisted Preparation

open access: yesPhotonics
We propose a theoretical scheme to enhance quantum coherence and obtain steady-state coherence by combining quantum feedback control and noise-assisted preparation.

Fast and robust two- and three-qubit swapping gates on multi-atomic ensembles in quantum electrodynamic cavity [PDF]

open access: yesElectronic Proceedings in Theoretical Computer Science, 2011
Creation of quantum computer is outstanding fundamental and practical problem. The quantum computer could be used for execution of very complicated tasks which are not solvable with the classical computers.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Quantum correlations between each two-level system in a pair of atoms and general coherent fields

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2016
The quantitative description of the quantum correlations between each two-level system in a two-atom system and the coherent fields initially defined in a coherent state in the framework of power-law potentials (PLPCSs) is considered.

A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Light squeezing it two-atom Jaynes - Cummings model with intensity-dependent atom-field coupling

open access: yesФизика волновых процессов и радиотехнические системы, 2014
The features of light squeezing for two two-level atom interacting with a coherent field in finite-Q cavity taking into account dependence of atom-field coupling from intensity of a field are explored.
