Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Stable Two-Sided Satisfied Matching for Hospitals and Patients Based on the Disappointment Theory

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2022
With the global spread of COVID-19 and the shortage of medical resources, the key to improve the quality of medical services is to solve the problem of hospital–patient matching.

Maintaining Stability for a Matching Problem Under Dynamic Preference

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
This study investigates two-sided matching and considers dynamic preference. In a stable matching problem, dynamic preference is a situation that often happens in real-world situations where the agent cannot express their preference with certainty.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Some Novel Theories of Triangular Intuitionistic Fuzzy Numbers and Its Application in Two-Sided Matching

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Some existing theories of triangular intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (TIFNs) and triangular intuitionistic fuzzy sets (TIFSs) are proved in this paper. In addition, this paper also provides some novel theorems and related proofs on TIFNs and TIFSs. Moreover,

WeaveNet for Approximating Two-sided Matching Problems

open access: yesCoRR, 2023
Matching, a task to optimally assign limited resources under constraints, is a fundamental technology for society. The task potentially has various objectives, conditions, and constraints; however, the efficient neural network architecture for matching is underexplored. This paper proposes a novel graph neural network (GNN), \textit{WeaveNet}, designed

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Decision Making Method of Personnel-position Matching Based on Improved Probabilistic Linguistic ORESTE [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng
With respect to the personnel-position matching in an information environment characterized by a multiattribute probabilistic linguistic set, a two-sided matching model is developed based on an improved ORESTE ranking method and matching aspiration.
