Economic Dispatch of Microgrid in Southwest China Based on Two-Stage Robust Optimization
According to the characteristics of abundant renewable energy reserves in southwest China, considering the influence of the uncertainty of renewable energy output and load on the operation scheduling of micro grid, this paper establishes a two-stage ...

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Quantitative Stability Analysis in Distributionally Robust Optimization [PDF]
Ambiguity set is a key element in distributionally robust optimization models. Here we investigate the impact of perturbation of ambiguity set on the optimal value and the optimal solutions. We consider the case where the ambiguity set is defined through

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Two-stage robust optimization for nodal invulnerability enhancement of power grids
Due to the large-scale integration of renewable energy and inevitable disturbing events (including natural disasters and deliberate attacks), the invulnerability of power grids is facing a great challenge, thus the security criterion is demanded to ...

09041 Summary – Hybrid and Robust Approaches to Multiobjective Optimization [PDF]
The seminar “Hybrid and Robust Approaches to Multiobjective Optimization” was a sequel to two previous Dagstuhl seminars (04461 in 2004 and 06501 in 2006). The main idea of this seminar series has been to bring together two contemporary fields related to

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.
