On Performance of STAR-RIS-Enabled Multiple Two-Way Full-Duplex D2D Communication Systems
This paper investigates performance of simultaneously transmitting and reflecting reconfigurable intelligent surface (STAR-RIS)-enabled multiple two-way full-duplex device-to-device (D2D) communication systems over Rayleigh fading channels under optimal ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

EXIT-chart Aided Joint Source-Coding, Channel-Coding and Modulation Design for Two-Way Relaying [PDF]
In this contribution, we have proposed and investigated an attractive Joint Source-coding, Channel coding and Modulation (JSCM) scheme for a two-way relaying system.

Quantum Two-Way Protocol Beyond Superdense Coding: Joint Transfer of Data and Entanglement
In this article, we introduce a generalization of one-way superdense coding to two-way communication protocols for transmitting classical bits by using entangled quantum pairs.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Communication, cooperation and collusion in team tournaments - An experimental study [PDF]
We study the effects of communication in an experimental tournament between teams. When teams, rather than individuals, compete for a prize there is a need for intra-team coordination in order to win the inter-team competition.
