Existence and Nonexistence of Traveling Wave Solutions for a Reaction–Diffusion Preys–Predator System with Switching Effect

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2023
In this paper, we are concerned with traveling wave solutions for two preys–one predator system with switching effect. First, we discuss that there is no traveling wave solution for this system by using linearization method.

A note on "new travelling wave solutions to the Ostrovsky equation"

open access: yes, 2010
In a recent paper by Yaşar [E. Yaşar, New travelling wave solutions to the Ostrovsky equation, Appl. Math. Comput. 216 (2010), 3191-3194], 'new' travelling-wave solutions to the transformed reduced Ostrovsky equation are presented.

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

The Propagating Exact Solitary Waves Formation of Generalized Calogero–Bogoyavlenskii–Schiff Equation with Robust Computational Approaches

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2023
The generalized Calogero–Bogoyavlenskii–Schiff equation (GCBSE) is examined and analyzed in this paper. It has several applications in plasma physics and soliton theory, where it forecasts the soliton wave propagation profiles.

A Prospective Study of Individuals at Risk of Multiple Sclerosis Informs the Design of Primary Prevention Studies

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective In multiple sclerosis, the optimal time for deploying a therapeutic intervention is before the central nervous system is damaged; given the success of trials treating the earliest stage of MS, the radiologically isolated syndrome, developing primary prevention strategies is an important next challenge.

Bright-dark and multi wave novel solitons structures of Kaup-Newell Schrödinger equations and their applications

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2021
In this paper, the soliton solutions which indicate long wave parallel to the magnetic fields of Kaup-Newell models are argued via described method. Modified extended Simple equation is suggested to explore the novel solitons and other wave structures of
