Family Tylenchidae (Nematoda): an overview and perspectives

Zanenchus nemorosus sp. n. from Poland differs from known species of this genus in its cuticle and lateral field, position of median oesophageal bulb, presence of post-uterine sac, and tail shape. Discotylenchus brevicaudatus sp. n. from Mexico is characterised by a short, thick tail and posterior position of vulva. Ottolenchus acris sp. n. from Poland

Bu çalışmada Ağustos-1991'de Kızılcahamam(Ankara) ve Nisan-1997'de Gönen(Balıkesir) ilçelerindeki çeltik(Oryza sativa L.) ekiliş alanlarından alınan 20 adet toprak örneği incelenmiştir. Alınan örneklerden elde edilen bitki paraziti nematodlardan Tylenchidae(Tylenchida:Nematoda) familyasına ait türlerin teşhisleri yapılmıştır.

Dactylotylenchinae, a new subfamily (Tylenchidae: Nematoda)

A new species of Dactylotylenchus, D. filiformis, was described and more information for D. crassacuticulus Wu, 1968 was presented. The thick cuticle and the digitate sclerotized labial framework of this genus provide the unique character for Dactylotylenchus in the family Tylenchidae. A new subfamily Dactylotylenchinae was created to accommodate this

Psilenchus vinciguerrae n. sp., provenant de Sicile (Italie), est caracterise par son corps relativement court et fin, une region cephalique a profil trapezoidal et sans striation, un stylet epais, sans boutons basaux, long d'environ 11 μm; MB = 52 (50-56); spicules = 18-22 μm; queue longue et fine.

Tylenchida are the largest and most important group of plant-parasitic nematodes. They cause severe crop losses, particularly in the tropics, but even in Europe and North America where chemical control has been used for many years, keeping nematode populations at a reasonable level is proving increasingly difficult.
