SALT: a spectral adaptive light curve template for type Ia supernovae
We present a new method to parameterize type Ia Supernovae (SN Ia) multi-color light curves. The method was developed in order to analyze the large number of SN Ia multi-color light curves measured in current high-redshift projects.

Union through UNITY: Cosmology with 2000 SNe Using a Unified Bayesian Framework
Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) were instrumental in establishing the acceleration of the Universe’s expansion. By virtue of their combination of distance reach, precision, and prevalence, they continue to provide key cosmological constraints, complementing ...

Recurrent novae: Single degenerate progenitors of Type Ia supernovae
Type Ia supernovae are the result of explosive thermonuclear burning in CO white dwarfs. The progenitors of the Ia supernovae are white dwarfs in an interacting binary system.

TYPE Ia SUPERNOVAE AND THE HUBBLE CONSTANT
▪ Abstract The focus of this review is the work that has been done during the 1990s on using Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) to measure the Hubble constant (H0). SNe Ia are well suited for measuring H0. A straightforward maximum-light color criterion can weed out the minority of observed events that are either intrinsically subluminous or substantially ...

Improving the Standardization of Type Ia Supernovae
International audienceType Ia Supernovae have provided a powerful tool for measuring the acceleratingexpansion of the Universe and constraining the properties of dark energy, butfuture progress will limited by various uncertainties in their ...

The High-latitude Time-domain Survey (HLTDS) for the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope (Roman) will discover thousands of high-redshift Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) to set generation-defining cosmological constraints on dark energy. To construct the Roman

Constraints on the progenitor systems of type Ia supernovae
Bolometric light curves provide a valuable insight into the nature of type Ia supernovae. We present an analysis of sixteen well-observed type Ia supernovae.
