ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

ABSTRACT Introduction Spinal cord infarction (SCI) is a rare but devastating myelopathy, characterized by a high disability rate and an unfavorable prognosis. It has often been underdiagnosed and misdiagnosed as idiopathic transverse myelitis (ITM). This study aimed to describe the clinical features, radiological biomarkers, treatments, and functional ...

ABSTRACT Background SOX1 antibody‐positive paraneoplastic neurological syndromes (PNS) exhibit significant population‐specific clinical heterogeneity. While Western cohorts predominantly manifest Lambert‐Eaton myasthenic syndrome (65%–80%), comprehensive clinical characterization and treatment response data in Asian populations remain critically ...

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

CX3CL1 in Early Detection of Alzheimer's Disease: Plasma Dynamics Across Age and Disease Stages
ABSTRACT Backgrounds Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by amyloid‐beta plaques, tau tangles, and neuroinflammation. C‐X3‐C motif chemokine ligand 1 (CX3CL1, also known as fractalkine), a neuroimmune chemokine implicated in AD pathogenesis, shows inconsistent alterations in plasma/serum across studies.

U‐Pb age of the Yxsjöberg Tungsten‐Skarn deposit, Sweden
Abstract The Yxsjoberg scheelite‐skam deposit of western Bergslagen (south‐central Sweden) formed in Palaeoproterozoic time when aqueous fluids migrating along lithologic discontinuities replaced limestones in acid volcanic rocks. The age of the mineralization and, thus, the source of the fluids are controversial.

A U–Pb age for mineralized Nipissing diabase, Gowganda, Ontario
Concordant baddeleyite and rutile analyses from mineralized Nipissing diabase at Gowganda's Castle mine yield a U–Pb age of [Formula: see text]. Baddeleyite is a primary phase of the diabase; therefore the age dates the magmatic emplacement. The genesis of rutile is less certain: rutile could have formed during an episode of alteration, veining, and ...

Interpretation of discordant U‐Pb zircon ages: An evaluation
Journal of Metamorphic Geology, 1997The most widely used technique for the determination of high precision mineral growth ages in igneous and metamorphic rocks is dating of zircons with the U‐Pb method. The interpretation of these ages, particularly in metamorphic settings, is hampered by an incomplete understanding of the common phenomenon of partial Pb‐loss in zircon.

U-Pb dating of a speleothem of Quaternary age
Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta, 1998We demonstrate that U-Pb dating is a promising method for secondary carbonate materials of Quaternary age and older by obtaining a 206Pb∗/238U age for a speleothem with high U (>10 μg g−1) and very low Pb (
