Functional and physicochemical properties of proteins isolated from four different pulses

Proteins from four pulses viz. pinto bean, cow pea, pigeon pea, and navy bean were isolated and characterized. Pinto bean protein showed the highest oil absorption capacity and solubility. Pinto bean protein exhibited the highest emulsion capacity and foaming capacity. Cow pea protein showed the highest in vitro protein digestibility.

We present our XMM-Newton observation of the fastest rotating spiral galaxy UGC 12591. We detect hot gas halo emission out to 110 kpc from the galaxy center, and constrain the halo gas mass to be smaller than 3.5e11 solar masses.

Metabolomic and lipidomic signatures of Helicobacter pylori infection: Unveiling biochemical pathways associated with neurodegeneration

Our study employed an integrated lipidomics and metabolomics approach to elucidate Helicobacter pylori‐driven metabolic perturbations along the gut–brain axis. H. pylori infection was established in gastric epithelial (AGS) cells, and the resulting conditioned media (secretome) was collected and exposed to neuronal (IMR‐32) cells.
