A monolithic UHF RFID transceiver for mobile UHF RFID readers

2016 International Conference on Integrated Circuits and Microsystems (ICICM), 2016
According to the protocol of ISO/IEC 18000-6C, a monolithic UHF RFID transceiver is designed, in a standard 0.18gm RF CMOS process, in which a receiver, a transmitter and a frequency synthesizer are integrated. The direct-conversion receiver consists of a LNA, down-conversion mixers, DCOCs, LPFs and PGAs.

MIMO Applicability to UHF SATCOM

2016 IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM), 2016
Narrowband satellite communications (SATCOM) in the ultra high frequency (UHF) band is an attractive option within the military SATCOM (MILSATCOM) community. The UHF user terminals (UTs) are typically low cost, easily deployable and have broad beamwidths so that precise pointing to the satellite is not a requirement for mobile users.

Uhf to Ka band upconverter

International Journal of Infrared and Millimeter Waves, 1994
A balanced upconverter circuit has been developed in planar transmission line configuration using NEC GaAs beam lead Schottky barrier diodes. RF power output of +1.6 dBm SSB is obtained at Ka-band when up converter is driven by +17 dBm IF and +20 dBm LO signal.

Subquotients of UHF C*-algebras

Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 1994
Over the last thirty years, the study of C*-algebras has proceeded in a number of directions. On one hand, much effort has been devoted to understanding the structure of particular classes of algebras, such as the approximately finite (AF) algebras. On the other, general structure theorems have been sought.

A UHF Probe Reflectometer

Measurement Techniques, 2003
A brief survey is presented on existing methods of measuring UHF circuit parameters. The structure is given for a new probe reflectometer, which has a simple design and good characteristics. The latter have been improved by altering the distance between the probes and using probes of different types. The working bandwidth is not less than two octaves.

UHF integrated power amplifiers

1969 IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference. Digest of Technical Papers, 1969
This paper describes the development of integrated UHF power amplifiers using thin-film lumped elements and UHF power-transistor chips. Single-stage hybrid amplifier modules capable of delivering output powers up to 20 watts CW in the frequency range of 225-400 MHz are reported.

UHF photoparametric amplifier

IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, 1965
Measurements on a degenerate UHF photoparametric amplifier using an optical signal modulated at 690 MHz have confirmed the 3 dB noise figure predicted by Penfield and Sawyer. The silicon photoparametric diode served as both the photodetector and varactor and was novel in several respects: the conductivity sequence was p-v-n-n+in contrast to the usual p-

MARKOV SEMIGROUPS ON UHF ALGEBRAS

Reviews in Mathematical Physics, 1993
We consider a class of Markov semigroups on UHF algebras. We establish the existence of dynamics for long range interactions. Our idea is a non-commutative extension of the argument for classical interacting particle systems. As a by-product we obtain sufficient conditions for unique ergodicity.

UHF propagation measurements

[1992 Proceedings] Vehicular Technology Society 42nd VTS Conference - Frontiers of Technology, 2003
The design of a space diversity microwave combiner which is used to measure different parameters of mobile radio channels and to test algorithms in diversity is described. The transmission equipment uses a carrier at 890.2 MHz in a 6 W amplifier. The receiver and measuring equipment are mounted in a mobile van.

UHF propagation measurements in heavy industry

2016 24th Signal Processing and Communication Application Conference (SIU), 2016
Estimating in-factory radio signal propagation characteristics accurately provides robust communication link configuration in these areas. In line with this purpose, this work here provides propagation path loss measurement results carried out in three heavy industrial environments at 315, 434, 870 ve 915 MHz frequency bands.
