Surface Integrity in Ultra-Precision Grinding of Transparent Ceramics
Abstract For high-performance optical applications, transparent polycrystalline ceramics are interesting materials because of the high thermal, chemical and mechanical resistance. However, due to its brittleness and hardness, the machining of these materials is difficult and the optical functionality is largely depending on the machining conditions ...

This study identifies that Grtp1 maintains germline redox homeostasis by interacting with PRDX1/4‐TXN to antagonize paternal reproductive aging. Growth hormone restores Grtp1 expression, rectifies aberrant sperm DNA methylation, and ameliorates intergenerational anxiety and social deficits, highlighting the GH‐GRTP1 axis as a promising intervention ...

The GPX3‐VCAM1 Axis Gates Pro‐Fibrotic Tubule Cell Fate in Hyperuricemic Nephropathy
Hyperuricemia induces NLRP3 inflammasome signaling activation and downregulation of GPX3 in proximal tubular epithelial cells, leading to oxidative stress–driven VCAM1 upregulation, emergence of pro‐fibrotic proximal tubule cells, macrophage recruitment, and renal fibrosis.

Sarcopenia has emerged as a major health challenge in the aging population. Developing a sustained‐release system for whey protein may enhance its effectiveness in mitigating sarcopenia. Herein, a novel “single‐protein particle encapsulation” (SPPE) system is developed to protect whey protein and control its release.
