Comparison of Different Temperatures on Bending Properties of Six Niti Endodontic File Systems [PDF]
Introduction: Manufacturers claim that modern NiTi files with proprietary heat treatment transform at higher temperatures, thus staying more martensite and being more resistant to cyclic fatigue and more flexible.

Experimental methodology of study of damage initiation and development in textile composites in uniaxial tensile test [PDF]
Damage in textile composites is closely connected with the internal micro- and meso-geometry of the reinforcement, and reveals features, which are not present in the damage processes in classical laminates. This paper proposes a test sequence intended to

Ultrasonic fatigue of superelastic Nitinol and in situ synchrotron observation of strain and damage
Superelastic Nitinol was tested at ultrasonic frequency in the high and very high cycle fatigue regime. Thin sheet specimens were initially preloaded to mimic crimping and deployment of Nitinol implants, which lead to a sample in a multi-phase state with

This article presents dielectric elastomer switch (DES) materials, based on composite thin films. Alignment of graphite flakes due to their physical confinement within the thin films lead to much stronger piezoresistive responses than bulk composites, while their durability exceeds that of conventional liquid‐based DES materials.
