TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

FEA-Based Ultrasonic Focusing Method in Anisotropic Media for Phased Array Systems

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
Traditional ultrasonic imaging methods have a low accuracy in the localization of defects in austenitic welds because the anisotropy and inhomogeneity of the welds cause distortion of the ultrasonic wave propagation paths in anisotropic media.

Optimization Design of Phased Array Ultrasonic Transducer Arrays

open access: yesDEStech Transactions on Computer Science and Engineering, 2018
The design and selection of the transducer array parameters directly affect the performance of the audio directional transmission system. In this paper, the influence of the number of array element, the pitch, the frequency and the deflection angle on the array directivity is analyzed in detail.

Pulse-Echo Phased Array Ultrasonic Inspection of Pultruded Rod Stitched Efficient Unitized Structure (PRSEUS) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A PRSEUS test article was subjected to controlled impact on the skin face followed by static and cyclic axial compressions. Phased array ultrasonic inspection was conducted before impact, and after each of the test conditions. A linear phased array probe

Cu‐Based MOF/TiO2 Composite Nanomaterials for Photocatalytic Hydrogen Generation and the Role of Copper

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
HKUST‐1/TiO2 composite materials show a very high photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate which increases as a function of the irradiation time until reaching a plateau and even surpasses the performance of the 1%Pt/TiO2 material after three photocatalytic cycles.

Three-dimensional model reconstruction of pipeline with inner wall corrosion based on ultrasonic phased array technology

open access: yesYou-qi chuyun, 2023
The inner wall corrosion of pipelines is concealed and hard to monitor in time. In order to visualize the shape of the internally corroded pipeline, as well as the defect volume and its spatial distribution, a three-dimensional (3D) model reconstruction ...

Leak Detection in Spacecraft Using a 64-Element Multiplexed Passive Array to Monitor Structure-Borne Noise [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We demonstrate an array sensor method intended to locate leaks in manned spacecraft using leak‐generated, structure‐borne ultrasonic noise. We have developed and tested a method for sensing and processing leak noise to reveal the leak location involving ...
