Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Elastic Properties and Thermal Expansion Behavior of a Polycrystalline VMnFeCoNi High‐Entropy Alloy
Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.The high‐entropy alloy (HEA) V20Mn20Fe20Co20Ni20 (composition in at.%) can be made single‐phase face‐centered cubic (FCC) when annealed above 1338 K followed by water quenching. In this state, the alloy exhibits the greatest strength‐ductility combination of any quinary single‐phase FCC HEA.

Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.Residual adhesive after electrode loading in adhesive‐assisted resistance spot welding is quantified through a traceable experimental‐to‐digital workflow. Chromatic confocal topography provides calibrated surface‐height data, while OpenCV detects the electrode imprint and integrates adhesive height into comparable volume metrics.
