Fatigue Damage Evaluation of Compressor Blade Based on Nonlinear Ultrasonic Nondestructive Testing
Nonlinear ultrasonic testing is highly sensitive to micro-defects and can be used to detect hidden damage and defects inside materials. At present, most tests are carried out on specimens, and there are few nonlinear ultrasonic tests for fatigue damage ...

An ultrasonic technique for the measurement of elastic properties of soft surface coatings [PDF]
The properties of thin layers of materials can be different from those in the bulk form. The response of a coating to any given load and its ability to remain bonded to the substrate will depend on its elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio. In this study a

Ultrasonic fatigue testing of concrete
Cyclic compression fatigue properties of concrete are studied with the ultrasonic fatigue testing method with cycling frequency 19 kHz and are compared to servo-hydraulic tests performed at 60 Hz. Ultrasonic testing was found applicable for rapid generation of very high cycle fatigue (VHCF) data of concrete.
