Characterization, Antimicrobial, and Antiproliferative Activities of Silver Nanoparticles Biosynthesized Using Terminalia phanerophlebia Engl. & Diels

open access: yesCell Biochemistry and Function, Volume 44, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT The application of nanoparticles (NPs) as therapeutic strategies for treating microbial infections and cancer is gaining attention due to their physicochemical properties. In this study, we synthesized silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) from the aqueous extract of the roots and leaves of Terminalia phanerophlebia.

Time‐Resolved Fluorescence and Diffuse Reflectance (TRF‐DR) Spectroscopy for Heterogeneous Breast Tissue Classification and Tumor Margin Assessment

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, Volume 19, Issue 2, February 2026.
This study demonstrates our time‐resolved fluorescence and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy system can classify breast tumor in heterogeneous tissue. It achieved sensitivity and specificity comparable to other techniques and highlights the effect of heterogeneous measurements on performance.

Modular and Automated Workflow for Streamlined Raman Signal Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Raman Spectroscopy, Volume 57, Issue 2, Page 360-377, February 2026.
This study presents an automated workflow for preprocessing and analyzing Raman spectroscopy data, addressing key challenges such as noise suppression, baseline correction, and peak fitting using Voigt profiles. The method is validated on both synthetic and experimental spectra, demonstrating improved spectral fidelity and peak detection for biomedical

Mesh, Hydrodynamic Boundary, and Uncertainty Analysis of the 2D‐SWEs: Taking Numerical Simulation of River Networks as an Example

open access: yesWater Resources Research, Volume 62, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract Targeting the issues of insufficient predictive ability and inefficient computation in two‐dimensional shallow water equations (2D‐SWEs), this study deeply couples the mesh and hydrodynamic boundary, constructing multiple 2D hydrodynamic models (run 2,640 times).

Ionosphere‐Thermosphere Coupling in the Northern Polar Region During the May 2024 Geomagnetic Superstorm

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract The May 2024 superstorm, as the most intense geomagnetic storm since 2003, caused a variety of disturbances in the magnetosphere‐ionosphere‐thermosphere system. This study investigates the long‐lasting electron density depletion in the polar region and the underlying ionosphere‐thermosphere coupling, based on a comprehensive set of ...

Differentiating Plumes and Local Torus Segments of Enceladus

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract Enceladus's south polar plumes and their surrounding torus segments (local plasma regions formed by plume material diffusion) are key to understanding its magnetospheric interaction; however, clear observational criteria to distinguish them remain lacking.
