Influence of Ultraviolet Paint and Lamp on Swimming Characteristic of Fish
Fish can see not only the visible rays of light for human being but also the ultraviolet rays. However, the effects of the ultraviolet rays on the fish behavior have not been investigated. It is known that the reaction of fish against the reflected light

Measurement of solar ultraviolet radiation intensity type A and B in Qazvin (2013-14)
Background: Solar ultraviolet radiation (UVR) is considered one of the most important biological risk factors in the world. Most health damages from solar ultraviolet radiation at ground level are mainly caused by UVA and UVB spectrums.

This work introduces a swelling‐induced, stress‐assisted water‐soluble PVA tape strategy to transfer‐print nanodiamond quantum‐sensor arrays onto soft, curved biological interfaces. The room‐temperature, water‐triggered process achieves >98% fidelity and residue‐free integration, enabling conformal quantum sensing on contact lenses, neural probes, and ...

Physics from Time Variability of the VHE Blazar PKS 2155-304 [PDF]
Blazars are the principal extragalactic sources of very high energy gamma-ray emission in the Universe. These objects constitute a sub-class of Active Galactic Nuclei whose emission is dominated by Doppler boosted non-thermal radiation from plasma ...

Computer modeling and experimental work on the astrobiological implications of the martian subsurface ionising radiation environment [PDF]
Any microbial life extant in the top meters of the martian subsurface is likely to be held dormant for long periods of time by the current permafrost conditions.
