Carrier‐free self‐assembled nanomedicine for combination‐therapy of acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
CPDS combines drugs with three different mechanisms of action to achieve a multi‐mechanism combination therapy for AML by directly killing tumor cells and activating anti‐tumor immunity. Abstract As the main acute myeloid leukemia (AML) clinical treatment, the chemotherapy alone cannot meet the clinical therapeutic needs due to the high heterogeneity ...

Formation and Characterization of Insoluble Anthocyanins‐λ‐carrageenan Biopolyelectrolyte Complexes: Structural Morphology, Thermal Stability, and Release Dynamics

open access: yesChemFoodChem, EarlyView.
Insoluble biopolyelectrolyte complexes formed between blackberry anthocyanins and λ‐carrageenan are investigated. Optimal complexation occurs at low carrageenan ratios and acidic pH, producing porous hydrogel‐like structures with enhanced thermal stability.

Dimetridazole in Feeds by Ultraviolet Spectrophotometry

open access: yesJournal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, 1965
Abstract Dimetridazole absorbs strongly in the ultraviolet region of tbe spectrum. This property was vised to develop an analytical procedure for the drvig in feeds. In the procedure, a portion of feed is extracted in hot methanol, chromatographcd in methanol and in aqvieous solutions on alumina to remove interferences, and read on an ...

Release of multicomponent pheromones from porous fibres

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
Abstract Surface engineering empowers a polymer exclusion net to serve dual functions: physical exclusion and pheromonal release, allowing for pest control in agricultural crops. In previous work, a net woven from porous fibres releasing simple, single‐component alarm pheromones showed promising results in field tests.
