Advanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 10, Issue 21, July 26, 2023., 2023 Silica‐based coatings design the wettability of cotton threads from highly hydrophilic to hydrophobic showing water exclusion which results into gradual adjustment of fluid imbibition velocity.
