This study shows that Yangyin Tongnao (YYTN) granule alleviates brain damage and functional deficits in MCAO rats. Mechanistically, YYTN inhibits the activation of the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway and downstream NLRP3 inflammasome and reduces both systemic (plasma IL‐18, TNF‐α) and local cerebral (IL‐6, IL‐1β mRNA) inflammatory markers.
