An isolated umbilical point of a Willmore surface
Osaka Journal of Mathematics, 2004 This paper proves that the index of an isolated umbilic point on a Willmore surface does not exceed 1/2. The author first gives a simple explanation of why we know that there do indeed exist umbilic points on Willmore surfaces with index equal to 1/2 and hence the estimate is sharp.

Cold‐stored and freeze‐dried platelets are being investigated for extending shelf‐life, but these still have the inherent challenge of donor‐dependency.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.Dynamic decellularized hydrogels are prepared using bovine decellularized small intestine submucosa (SIS) norbornene (dSIS‐NB). Bovine dSIS contained significant amounts of disulfide‐rich fibrillin‐I, enabling ‘self‐clickable’ thiol‐norbornene gelation and spatiotemporal tuning of hydrogel physicochemical properties.

Advanced Science, EarlyView.A dual‐network protein hydrogel substantially improves hemostasis and scar‐free healing.The adaptive network maintains intimate tissue contact while providing strong wet adhesion, tunable mechanics, and controlled degradation. Concurrent ROS scavenging and M2 polarization suppress fibrotic pathways, preventing scar formation.
