ChemistryOpen, EarlyView.The anticancer potential of Rhododendron luteum‐based carbon dots was investigated. Environmentally friendly synthesis yielded carbon dots that selectively induced cytotoxicity in HCT116 cells by reducing CD44/24 ratio, causing G2/M phase arrest, and enhancing apoptosis.
