Beyond Extracellular Vesicle (EV) Hype: Practical Solutions and Remaining Hurdles in EV Research, Manufacturing, and Clinical Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanoscale mediators of intercellular communication with diverse molecular cargoes that reflect their cell of origin. Advances in isolation, detection, and single‐particle analytics have revealed increasing molecular and functional heterogeneity, while exposing limitations in how EV identity and activity are ...

The relationship between noise pollution and cardiovascular diseases: an umbrella review on meta-analyses

open access: yesBMC Cardiovascular Disorders
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a global health concern, with established risk factors like smoking, hypertension (HTN), diabetes, and dyslipidemia. Emerging evidence suggests that environmental noise resulting from urbanization and industrialization may

Low Complexity Regularization of Linear Inverse Problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Inverse problems and regularization theory is a central theme in contemporary signal processing, where the goal is to reconstruct an unknown signal from partial indirect, and possibly noisy, measurements of it.

Exceptional Antimodes in Multi‐Drive Cavity Magnonics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Driven‐dissipative cavity‐magnonics provides a flexible platform for engineering non‐Hermitian physics such as exceptional points. Here, using a four‐port, three‐mode system with controllable microwave interference, antimodes and coherent perfect extinction (CPE) are realized, enabling active tuning to antimode exceptional points.

How to Conduct Umbrella Review in Education? A Step-by-Step Methodological Guide Through a Case Study in Digital Diaries

open access: yesECNU Review of Education
Purpose The need for scientific evidence in the field of education has accelerated the production of systematic reviews (SRs), but this effect is much less evident for umbrella reviews.

Self‐Heating and Thermal Gradient in Solid‐State Batteries: Friend or Foe?

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This work investigates the role of self‐heating and thermal gradients derived from the kinetics/transport interactions within the cathode microstructure, electrode architecture, and operating regimes, thus encouraging a mechanism‐centric design of anode‐free solid‐state batteries for next‐generation high‐power applications.
