Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

Climate cost uncertainty, retrofit cost uncertainty, and infrastructure closedown : a framework for analysis [PDF]

open access: yes
Large and energy-intensive infrastructure investments with long life times have substantial implications for climate policy. This study focuses on options to scale down energy consumption and carbon emissions now and in the future, and on the costs of ...

Fluid and Neuroimaging Biomarkers in Microgliopathy Colony‐Stimulating Factor‐1 Receptor‐Related Disorders

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective This study aims to identify both fluid and neuroimaging biomarkers for CSF1R‐RD that can inform the optimal timing of treatment administration to maximize therapeutic benefit, while also providing sensitive quantitative measurements to monitor disease progression.

PRICE UNCERTAINTY AND AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTIVITY [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper examines the effects of price uncertainty on agricultural productivity. Appelbaum(1991) provided an empirical framework to analyze the effects of uncertainty on firm behavior. We apply the model to the U.S.

Exploratory Analysis of ELP1 Expression in Whole Blood From Patients With Familial Dysautonomia

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Familial dysautonomia (FD) is a hereditary neurodevelopmental disorder caused by aberrant splicing of the ELP1 gene, leading to a tissue‐specific reduction in ELP1 protein expression. Preclinical models indicate that increasing ELP1 levels can mitigate disease manifestations.

Uncertainty analysis of loss of coolant flow accident in lead–bismuth reactor using subchannel code

open access: yesHe jishu
BackgroundSubchannel codes constitute an important computational tool in the field of reactor thermo-hydraulics. Uncertainty analysis methods can be used to effectively identify and quantify the uncertainties of code input parameters and model ...

Association of Corticospinal Tract Asymmetry With Ambulatory Ability After Intracerebral Hemorrhage

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Ambulatory ability after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is important to patients. We tested whether asymmetry between ipsi‐ and contra‐lesional corticospinal tracts (CSTs) assessed by diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) is associated with post‐ICH ambulation.

Algorithm Analysis and Optimization of a Digital Image Correlation Method Using a Non-Probability Interval Multidimensional Parallelepiped Model

open access: yesSensors
Digital image correlation (DIC), a widely used non-contact measurement technique, often requires empirical tuning of several algorithmic parameters to strike a balance between computational accuracy and efficiency.

Age‐Related Characteristics of SYT1‐Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorder

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives We describe the clinical manifestations and developmental abilities of individuals with SYT1‐associated neurodevelopmental disorder (Baker‐Gordon syndrome) from infancy to adulthood. We further describe the neuroradiological and electrophysiological characteristics of the condition at different ages, and explore the associations ...
