Micro‐transfer printing enables GaAs and InP gain materials to be integrated on a commercial silicon nitride photonic platform. The resulting chip supports O‐ and C‐band comb and single‐mode lasers, demonstrating a scalable route toward multi‐material, multi‐wavelength, and multifunctional integrated light sources.

Numerical Modeling of Bank Instability by Seepage Erosion Undercutting of Layered Streambanks [PDF]
Undercutting, primarily considered due to fluvial mechanisms, has been reported to have a major impact on slope failure. Predicting bank collapse specifically due to seepage erosion undercutting by particle mobilization on layered streambanks has not ...

Are Start‐Up Acquisitions by Dominant Firms Driving Innovation or Killing Competition?
ABSTRACT This paper develops a sequential model to examine start‐up acquisitions in markets with network externalities, incorporating a pre‐entry strategic buyout option that allows the incumbent to integrate the start‐up's innovation, followed by post‐entry expenditure on coordination advertising, and defensive pricing strategies.

An open analytical framework converts standard rheological measurements directly into the complete extrusion field and slicer‐ready printing parameters for Piston driven printers, enabling rapid operational window of printability in direct ink writing without CFD or machine learning. ABSTRACT Predicting whether a gel formulation will print successfully

This study presents a fast and accurate calculation tool to predict conveying of polymer melts in single‐screw extruders. Integrating generalized sub‐models into network theory allows to represent the complex screw shapes and material behavior more realistically. Tests on an industrial extruder show close agreement with experiments, outperforming older

Bayesian updating and undercutting defeat
There is some apparent incompatibility between Bayesian diachronic norms for rationally updating one’s credences and defeasibility. Most epistemologists think that doxastic attitudes formed based on experience are vulnerable to having some positive ...

National Policy Coherence Counts for Reducing Inequality in Global Climate and Development Agendas
ABSTRACT International institutions promote policy coherence as crucial to the effective and fair implementation of global sustainability agendas, though the evidence for its benefits is slim. We present here the first systematic cross‐country dataset on the consequences of national government efforts to promote policy coherence for vulnerable groups ...

Regional Sustainable Economic Development in the Caribbean? A Discursive Inquiry
ABSTRACT The Caribbean region is governed by several regional bodies. Among the more important organizations for small island states, where coral reefs and ocean conservation are paramount, is the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). Currently, the region is going through critical environmental changes that bring important vulnerabilities.
