Effects of Mesenchymal Stem Cell‐Derived Exosomes on Lung Inflammation in a Murine Aspiration Model
This study assessed the effect of intravenous MSC‐derived exosomes on inflammatory lung injury in a rat model of LPS aspiration. Compared with LPS alone, MSC exosome treatment reduced histologic lung injury overall (significant group effect p = 0.02; linear trend p = 0.006) and significantly lowered Tnf gene expression on qRT‐PCR (p < 0.05).

Underwater Radio Communication
In subsea applications, there is a growing demand for high-speed wireless communication links for transmitting data between different equipment. Radio communication is constrained by the high attenuation in seawater. Only a very short range is achievable, even at low frequencies. In this thesis an independent, battery-driven radio frequency transmitter

Seabed classification in the Gulf of Alaska from acoustic surveys using deep learning
Abstract High‐resolution mapping of seafloor habitats has wide applications for fisheries, conservation efforts, offshore infrastructure planning, mineral extraction, and scientific modeling. This study leverages existing widespread single‐beam acoustic data and machine learning to create habitat maps for the Gulf of Alaska at a spatial resolution of ...
