Underwater Inspection Of Naval Structures
Proceedings OCEANS '83, 1983Nondestructive testing (NDT) performed underwater is one of the major maintenance methods to assure the efficient operation of naval structures such as piers, navigational aids, etc. Methods used for NDT of naval structures include general methods such as visual testing, ultrasonics and radiography.

Electromagnetic Inspection Underwater
1986The examination of materials by electromagnetic methods is one of the most interesting aspects of scientific application. It is particularly appropriate to the application of such tests under water, as the magnetic effects are in no way diminished below the surface of seas or oceans.

Underwater inspection of offshore structures
Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. Section B. Biological Sciences, 1978SynopsisUnder the Offshore Installations (Construction and Survey) Regulations 1974 all structures established or maintained in UK waters must possess a valid certificate of fitness. To obtain this certificate annual visual inspections of parts of the structure must be carried out both above and below water.

Statistički pokazatelji ukazuju da je najčešći uzrok oštećenja i rušenja mostova djelovanje vode. Učešće toga uzroka je oko 50 %. U uvjetima kada mostovi s dijelom svoje konstrukcije zadiru u protočni profil aluvijalnih vodotoka u interakciji s vodom izazivaju lokalne promjene na koritu.

Underwater Inspection and Surveys Using Computer Management
SPE Offshore Europe, 1985ABSTRACT Mandatory underwater inspection programmes are expensive and generate large volumes of report material. Computer based systems have been developed to provide more efficient and flexible planning of these programmes, to facilitate report production and, most significantly to allow the management of the results of such inspections

Robots to inspect welds underwater
Industrial Robot: An International Journal, 1994Examines research work to investigate the potential of using robot manipulators for underwater ultrasonic testing of welds in joints of complex geometry. Describes experiments carried out into non‐contact ultrasonic immersion testing using a six‐axis robot and an ultrasonic inspection system and gives results from scanning of a small T‐node specimen ...
