On-Demand Asynchronous Localization for Underwater Sensor Networks
IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 2012In this paper we consider the issue of localization in the context of underwater sensor networks which contain anchor nodes with perfect knowledge of their position, but asynchronous clocks. By taking advantage of a sequential broadcasting protocol the entire network can be localized simultaneously with minimal overhead.

Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks
2020In this chapter, we will provide the brief introduction of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and the detailed introduction of underwater wireless sensor networks (UWSNs). We define the basic issues and different applications related to UWSNs. This chapter provides the description about the difference between the terrestrial WSNs and UWSNs.

Security in Underwater Sensor Network
2010 International Conference on Communications and Mobile Computing, 2010Underwater wireless sensor network is a novel type of underwater networked system. Due to the characteristics of UWSN and underwater channel, UWSN are vulnerable to malicious attacks. The existing security solutions proposed for WSN cannot be used directly in UWSN. Moreover, most of these solutions are layer wise.
