Application of Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) in Jiangsu power system
2017 IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting, 2017This paper presents applications of one operating 220 kV and the other constructing 500kV Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) projects in Jiangsu power system. The operating UPFC project in Nanjing Western Power Grid (NWPG) will be firstly introduced. Necessity and feasibility to utilise UPFC will be discussed.
