Convergence of generalized sampling series in weighted spaces

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2022
The present paper deals with an extension of approximation properties of generalized sampling series to weighted spaces of functions. A pointwise and uniform convergence theorem for the series is proved for functions belonging to weighted spaces.

Constructive Equivalents of the Uniform Continuity Theorem

open access: yes, 2005
For the purpose of constructive reverse mathematics, we show the equivalence of the uniform continuity theorem to a series of propositions; this illuminates the relationship between Brouwer's fan theorem and the uniform continuity ...

Spatial and single‐nuclei transcriptomics reveals idiosyncratic and generic patterns in papillary and anaplastic thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Matched spatial transcriptomics and single‐nuclei RNA‐seq were generated for anaplastic and BRAFV600E papillary thyroid cancers revealing generic and tumor‐specific states occurring in cancer cells and in the tumor microenvironment. In this context, cancer dedifferentiation mirrored organoid maturation through ordered thyroid marker gain/loss ...

ROTC uniform, gta1056

open access: yes, 2022
The U.S. Congress passed the National Defense Act in June 1916 which provided for the formation of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC). The first unit formed at Georgia Tech in March 1918.

Cantor and continuity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Georg Cantor (1845-1919), with his seminal work on sets and number, brought forth a new field of inquiry, set theory, and ushered in a way of proceeding in mathematics, one at base infinitary, topological, and combinatorial. While this was the thrust,

Translating whole‐genome doubling into precision medicine in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Whole‐genome doubling creates a WGD‐positive tumor state characterized by persistent chromosomal instability, karyotypic diversification, and cellular stress. These same biological pressures drive aggressive tumor evolution while exposing therapeutic vulnerabilities, providing a rationale for WGD‐informed precision medicine. Whole‐genome doubling (WGD)

Composition of S^p-weighted pseudo almost automorphic functions and applications

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2014
Since the background space of $S^p$-weighted pseudo almost automorphic functions (abbr. $S^p$-wpaa functions) is endowed with a norm coming from $L^p$ norm, it is natural to consider the composition of $S^p$-wpaa functions under conditions of $L^p$

Single‐cell DNA methylation profiling: Technologies, computation, and applications in precision oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell DNA methylation (scDNAme) profiling maps epimutational clonal evolution, revealing mechanisms of malignancy and therapeutic resistance across diverse cancer types. By providing a high‐resolution landscape of intratumoral heterogeneity, these technologies empower precise patient stratification, guide the development of enhanced ...

Lipschitz Continuity of the Solution Mapping of Symmetric Cone Complementarity Problems

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
This paper investigates the Lipschitz continuity of the solution mapping of symmetric cone (linear or nonlinear) complementarity problems (SCLCP or SCCP, resp.) over Euclidean Jordan algebras. We show that if the transformation has uniform Cartesian P-

On approximation properties of some non-positive Bernstein-Durrmeyer type operators

open access: yesAnalele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Ovidius Constanta: Seria Matematica, 2023
In this paper we shall introduce a new type of Bernstein Durrmeyer operators which are not positive on the entire interval [0, 1]. For these operators we will study the uniform convergence on all continuous functions on [0, 1] as well as a result given ...
