Persistency of excitation for uniform convergence in nonlinear control systems
In previous papers we have introduced a sufficient condition for uniform attractivity of the origin for a class of nonlinear time-varying systems which is stated in terms of persistency of excitation (PE), a concept well known in the adaptive control and systems identification literature.

Low‐cycle fatigue damage in Mn–Mo–Ni reactor pressure vessel steel is examined using a combined electron backscatter diffraction and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy approach. The study correlates texture evolution, dislocation substructure development, and vacancy‐type defect formation across uniform, necked, and fracture regions, providing

ESTIMATION OF A SEMIPARAMETRICIGARCH(1,1) MODEL [PDF]
We propose a semiparametric IGARCH model that allows for persistence invariance but also allows for more flexible functional form. We assume that thedifference of the squared process is weakly stationary.

In this paper, we prove that a stochastic logistic population under regime switching controlled by a Markov chain is either stochastically permanent or extinctive, and we obtain the sufficient and necessary conditions for stochastic permanence and ...

In this paper, a within-host HIV-1 infection model with virus-to-cell and direct cell-to-cell transmission and explicit age-since-infection structure for infected cells is investigated. It is shown that the model demonstrates a global threshold dynamics,

Nonuniform Staggered Prices and Output Persistence [PDF]
Staggered prices are a fundamental building block of New Keynesian dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models. In the standard model, prices are uniformly staggered, but recent empirical evidence suggests that deviations from uniform staggering are common.

Powder Optimization Strategies for Binder Jetting Printing of BaTiO3 and Ba0,6Sr0,4TiO3 Ceramics
Powder optimization is investigated to enable binder jetting of BaTiO3 and Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 ferroelectric ceramics. The antagonistic relationship between flowability and binder compatibility is addressed through binder impregnation of granulated powders and fumed silica addition to fine powders.

Stochastic population dynamics under regime switching II
This is a continuation of our paper [Q. Luo, X. Mao, Stochastic population dynamics under regime switching, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 334 (2007) 69-84] on stochastic population dynamics under regime switching.

To investigate multiple effects of the interaction between V. cholerae and phage on cholera transmission, we propose a degenerate reaction-diffusion model with different dispersal rates, which incorporates a short-lived hyperinfectious (HI vibrios) state

Uniform Persistence in Nonautonomous Delay Differential Kolmogorov-Type Population Models
The paper presents a result of uniform persistence for a system of two time-dependent delay differential equations with a bounded delay: \[ dx/dt= x(t) f(t,x_ t, y_ t); \qquad dy/dt= g(t, x_ t, y_ t). \] Both competition and predator-prey conditions are considered.
