Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Approximating Non-Uniform Sparsest Cut via Generalized Spectra
We give an approximation algorithm for non-uniform sparsest cut with the following guarantee: For any $\epsilon,\delta \in (0,1)$, given cost and demand graphs with edge weights $C, D$ respectively, we can find a set $T\subseteq V$ with $\frac{C(T,V ...

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

Bias and Efficiency of Uniform Bid Design in Contingent Valuation [PDF]
While contingent valuation (CV) methods have experienced growing popularity for estimating the willingness to pay for nonmarket goods and services, optimal bid designs for CV that provide guidance in bid point placement often render themselves ...

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Long time behavior of nonautonomous reaction-diffusion equations on the time semiaxis R+
We study nonautonomous reaction-diffusion equations on the time semiaxis R+.We obtain some prior estimates for the solutions and prove the existence of the uniform attractor.

Testing the Kerr Paradigm via Synchrotron Radiation
General relativity has been tested in weak field regimes, but strong gravity regimes are still to be verified. The strong gravity regime with synchrotron radiation has not yet been explored.

Investigating dose finding methods and different priors in Bayesian continual reassessment method
Clinical trials are studies that explore whether a treatment, drug or device is safe and effective for humans. These studies can show which medial method work best for certain diseases.
