A Study on the Stability and Uniformity of LCD

2008 International Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering, 2008
Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) plays a more and more critical role for color transformation and reproduction of cross media, but the influences upon the stability and spatial uniformity of LCD have been neglected for many users in practice. In this paper, 24 color test samples were measured and computed at 9 different places for study on the stability ...

Uniform self-stabilizing rings

ACM Transactions on Programming Languages and Systems, 1988
A self-stabilizing system has the property that, no matter how it is perturbed, it eventually returns to a legitimate configuration. Dijkstra originally introduced the self-stabilization problem and gave several solutions for a ring of processors in his 1974 Communications of the ACM paper ...

Uniform Stability and Stabilization of Linear Thermoelastic Systems

Journal of Dynamical and Control Systems, 2000
The object of the paper is to study mathematical models of elastic, heat conductive media. For such linear thermoelastic systems, uniform stability and stabilization methods are investigated. An explicit stabilizing feedback for such system is developed and proposed. The exponential stability for this stabilizer is proved using Lyapunov functions.

Sufficient Stability Criteria and Uniform Stability of Difference Schemes

Journal of Computational Physics, 2000
The authors study the Cauchy problem for systems of linear differential equations with constant coefficients \[ {\partial U\over\partial t}= P\Biggl({\partial\over\partial x}\Biggr) U,\quad t>0,\quad U(x, 0)= U_0(x), \] where \(U\) is a vector function of \(x\), \(t\).

On stability of REM algorithm with uniform delay

Global Telecommunications Conference, 2002. GLOBECOM '02. IEEE, 2003
REM (random exponential marking) is an active queue management algorithm that is designed to achieve a desirable equilibrium, without explicit consideration to its dynamic property especially in the presence of feedback delay. We provide sufficient conditions for REM to be locally stable around an equilibrium, in a multi-link multi-source setting, when

Uniform stability of discrete impulsive systems

International Journal of Systems Science, 2008
This article studies discrete impulsive systems. The uniform stability (uniformly asymptotic stability and quasi-exponential stability) criteria are established for linear discrete impulsive system and a class of nonlinear discrete impulsive systems, respectively.
