Uniformity trial with lucerne grown for fodder

Grass and Forage Science, 1995
AbstractData on the yield of lucerne for individual cuts and the total for three cuts from a uniformity trial were analysed. It was observed that CV% values decreased with the increase in plot size, both for each cut and for total yield. The decrease was considerable up to a plot size of 8 to 16 m2.

Strawberry Uniformity Yield Trials

Biometrics, 1953
Realistic and comprehensive mathematical models for the analyses of field trial data can be based only on an extensive and intensive study of uniformity trials. The collection of uniformity trial data is a time and money consuming project. It cannot be assumed that the models found adequate for one crop in one year at one place can be extrapolated with

Quantitating Mitral Regurgitation in Clinical Trials: The Need for a Uniform Approach

The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2022
There is an established relationship between the degree of mitral regurgitation (MR) and prognosis. Quantitation of MR severity guides therapeutic approaches. Inconsistent definitions and categorization of MR severity in clinical studies limit meaningful comparisons among trials and compromise development of an effective evidence base.

Analysis of a Uniformity Trial on Cassava

Experimental Agriculture, 1968
SummaryThe analysis of a uniformity trial on cassava is briefly discussed, mentioning possible effects of plant losses on the methods of analysis. Two methods of calculating comparable variances, on a per plant and per unit area basis, gave very high values for the index of heterogeneity, with a mean of 0·94.
