We report the clinical features and surgical treatment of a 15-year-old girl with unilateral microblepharon. The anomaly was characterized by a vertical shortage of upper and lower eyelid skin, causing nocturnal lagophthalmos, corneal exposure, and cosmetic deformity.

Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor-induced angioedema is typically easily recognizable in the emergency department. Angioedema lateralizing to one side, however, is infrequently reported, rare, and has the same potential of progression to airway compromise.

Five vertebrae with unilateral spondylolysis are presented. The associated asymmetry of the posterior elements supports the concept of a localised form of growth deficiency. The defect is difficult to demonstrate radiologically, and is perhaps present more frequently than is recognised.

We describe three patients with unilateral asterixis. One diabetic patient with a moderately-sized haematoma in the left putamen initially developed bilateral and symmetrical asterixis, which became confined to the right side as his diabetes mellitus was controlled.

Unilateral blepharochalasis is an extremely rare disorder with an unknown etiology and pathogenesis. The authors present a 22-year old patient in whom a right-sided skin overhang of the upper eyelid caused visual field impairment. The condition was corrected by a standard blepharoplasty. The histological examination suggested a localised anomaly of the

Unilateral Lymphangioleiomyomatosis
Journal of Thoracic Imaging, 2005Pulmonary involvement in tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) resembles lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) in its clinical, radiologic, and histopathological features. Typical high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) findings are of bilateral thin-walled cysts symmetrically throughout both lungs, with associated increase in lung volumes.
