In this study, we identify a novel functional role of ZBTB18 in regulating trigeminal‐mediated neuropathic pain. Nerve injury reduces ZBTB18 in trigeminal ganglion neurons, impairing CHD4/NuRD recruitment and de‐repressing Clic1. Elevated CLIC1 enhances chloride channel activity and neuronal hyperexcitability, thereby driving pain.

Sleep disturbance severity closely tracks hearing loss in a clinical cohort, yet the mechanistic link remains unclear. Acute sleep deprivation is shown to trigger transient cochlear oxidative stress that switches into a self‐sustaining neuroinflammatory state, suppressing BK channels and causing irreversible synaptopathy.

Crossed Leg Sign Is Associated With Severity of Unilateral Spatial Neglect After Stroke
BackgroundThe crossed leg sign in patients with right hemisphere stroke is thought to be associated with perceptual disorders, such as unilateral spatial neglect (USN).

Benzotriazole (BTA) regulates Zn reduction kinetics and suppresses galvanic corrosion, simultaneously mitigating Zn pulverization during cycling and self‐corrosion during storage, thereby enabling lean Zn anodes with enhanced cycling stability and extended calendar life.

Subclassification of unilateral spatial neglect

Unilateral Spatial Neglect in Visual and Tactile Modalities
The purpose of this study was to investigate whether a unilateral spatial neglect phenomenon occurs in the tactile modality in the absence of visual information. Ten patients with clinically confirmed visual spatial neglect and 10 normal controls bisected lines visually, or by touch when blindfolded.

A Gut‐Brain Axis Underlying Succinate‐Associated Compulsive‐Like Behavior
Gut‐derived succinate is associated with an excitatory‐inhibitory imbalance in dmPFC glutamatergic neurons, involving microglial SUCNR1 activation and vagal afferent signaling via upregulated gut 5‐HT4 receptors along the DVC‐CeA‐dmPFC circuit, changes that are linked to excessive compulsive‐like behavior.

Crossing the midline: reducing attentional deficits via interhemispheric interactions [PDF]
Patients with unilateral neglect and extinction show a profound lack of awareness of stimuli presented contralateral to their lesion. However, many processes of perception are intact and contralesional stimuli seem to reach a high level of representation,

Neuronal activation leads to astrocytic transient volume changes, activating transient receptor potential ankyrin 1 (TRPA1) channels, leading to Ca2+ influx. Activation of TRPA1 causes the release of D‐serine through BEST1. Finally, the augmented extracellular levels of D‐serine boost neuronal activity by binding GluN1‐containing NMDARs, leading to CBV
