Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Quantized Transport in Graphene p-n Junctions in Magnetic Field

open access: yes, 2007
Recent experimental work on locally gated graphene layers resulting in p-n junctions have revealed quantum Hall effect in their transport behavior. We explain the observed conductance quantization which is fractional in the bipolar regime and integer in ...

Period Changes in Ultra-compact Double White Dwarfs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
In recent years there has been much interest in the nature of two stars, V407 Vul and RXJ0806+1527, which are widely thought to be binary white dwarfs of very short orbital period, 570 and 321 seconds respectively.

A New Threshold Switching Device With Tunable Negative Differential Resistance Based on ErMnO3 Polymorphs

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polymorph engineering in ErMnO3 enables low‐voltage, forming‐free threshold switching with tunable negative differential resistance. Conducting orthorhombic regions embedded in an insulating hexagonal matrix provide controlled Joule‐heating‐enhanced Poole–Frenkel transport. The hexagonal phase prevents excessive heating and breakdown.

Long-time self-similar asymptotic of the macroscopic quantum models

open access: yes, 2008
The unipolar and bipolar macroscopic quantum models derived recently for instance in the area of charge transport are considered in spatial one-dimensional whole space in the present paper.

Interfacial chemical bonding-mediated ionic resistive switching. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper, we present a unique resistive switching (RS) mechanism study of Pt/TiO2/Pt cell, one of the most widely studied RS system, by focusing on the role of interfacial bonding at the active TiO2-Pt interface, as opposed to a physico-chemical ...

Molecularly Engineered Highly Stable Memristors with Ultra‐Low Operational Voltage: Integrating Synthetic DNA with Quasi‐2D Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Molecularly engineered memristors integrating Ag nanoparticle–embedded synthetic DNA with quasi‐2D halide perovskites enable ultra‐low‐operational voltage, forming‐free resistive switching, and record‐low power density. This synergistic integration of customized DNA and 2D OHP in bio‐hybrid architecture enhances charge transport, reduces variability ...

Relacionamentos multilaterais na unipolaridade: uma discussão teórica realista Multilateral relationships in unipolarity: a realist approach

open access: yesContexto Internacional, 2006
Examina-se em que medida e em que condições relacionamentos multilaterais podem ser relevantes no contexto de um sistema unipolar e, em particular, em que medida e em que condições esses relacionamentos podem influenciar o comportamento do único pólo do ...
