Extending the Ring Theory of Personhood to the Care of Dying Patients in Intensive Care Units [PDF]

open access: hybridAsian Bioethics Review, 2021
AbstractIt is evident, in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic that has physicians confronting death and dying at unprecedented levels along with growing data suggesting that physicians who care for dying patients face complex emotional, psychological and behavioural effects, that there is a need for their better understanding and the implementation of ...

A Construction for the Normalizer of a Ring With Local Unit With Applications to the Theory of L-Algebras [PDF]

open access: closedTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1960
Introduction. The purpose of this paper is to extend some of the author's results [4; 51 about F-rings to a wider class of lattice ordered rings called generalized F-rings. A generalized F-ring or GFR is a partially ordered real algebra R which forms a a-complete vector lattice with respect to addition, scalar multiplication, and order, and for which ...

Enhanced Physics: Holographic Ring Theory and Holographic Units

open access: green
We systematically derive the Holographic Ring Theory (HRT) corrections to the fundamental equations of physics, recast within the Holographic Unit System (HUS). In this updated framework, all dimensionful quantities are expressed as integer combinations of holographic flux, phase, frequency, and cycle quanta, and all gauge couplings arise from integer ...

Angular distribution of units in abelian group rings - an application to Galois-module theory.

open access: closedJournal für die reine und angewandte Mathematik (Crelles Journal), 1987
A Dirichlet series is introduced the study of whose singularities describes the distribution in space of units in abelian group rings. It shows that they cluster more densely in some regions than others. This is used to give quantitative information on the distribution of normal integral bases in tame abelian extensions of \(\mathbb Q\).

Kinematic and dynamic characteristics' analysis of a scissor multi-rod ring deployable mechanism [PDF]

open access: yesMechanical Sciences, 2023
In this paper, the authors developed a double-layer ring truss deployable antenna mechanism (RTDAM) based on a scissor unit, which can be used as the deployment and support mechanism in large-aperture satellite antenna. Firstly, three configuration state

Construction of Complex Lattice Codes via Cyclotomic Fields

open access: yesTrends in Computational and Applied Mathematics, 2022
Through algebraic number theory and Construction $A$ we extend an algebraic procedure which generates complex lattice codes from the polynomial ring \mathbb{F}_{2}[x]/(x^{n}-1), where \mathbb{F}_{2}=\{0,1\}, by using ideals from the generalized ...
