Artificial molecular machines and motors—Design and control of nanoscale motion
Molecules are constantly moving because of thermal fluctuations, but random motion alone cannot be exploited to perform directional tasks. Artificial molecular machines use chemical, electrical, or light energy to bias this motion. Molecular shuttles, rotary motors, and supramolecular pumps illustrate how nanoscale movement can be controlled and ...

Sharp displacement constants for fixed-point-free shift maps on the unit balls of
Let S be the right shift on ℓ p or c 0 and let T = h + S be a self-map of the unit ball whose boundary term h takes values in the first coordinate direction; this is the form of the retraction-based fixed-point-free maps with vanishing minimal ...

In multi-band base station antennas, interference toward neighboring cells at low operating frequency in-creases since tilting angle is frequency-independent and beamwidth in the vertical plane increases as de-creasing the operating frequency.

Heterodimeric amino acid transporters consist of SLC7 and SLC3 family proteins arranged in a conserved structural organization. They regulate nutrient transport across cell membranes, supporting essential cellular functions. These transporters also contribute to xenobiotic/drug uptake and distribution.

Transcranial Ultrasound Guided Assessment of Brain Midline Shift in Neuro Intensive Care Unit
Background: Neuro Intensive Care Unit (Neuro-ICU) handles neurological emergencies that involve intracranial (IC) hemorrhages. It can be challenging to manage elevated intracranial pressure (ICP) and midline shift (MLS), as they requires constant ...

Membrane composition and thermodynamic identity as boundaries of life for synthetic cell research
What makes a cell a cell? The boundary of a living cell is not just a wall. Read as a Markov blanket, the membrane separates internal from external states, generating identity and non‐equilibrium order. Can this identity be rebuilt from scratch in a synthetic cell?

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.
