On the Moore Formula of Compact Nilmanifolds
Let G be a connected and simply connected two-step nilpotent Lie group and Γ a lattice subgroup of G. In this note, we give a new multiplicity formula, according to the sense of Moore, of irreducible unitary representations involved in the decomposition ...

Show Me the Brain!!: A modern approach to neuroanatomy education
Abstract Show Me the Brain!! (SMtB) is a digital system for interactive graphics that is designed to support instruction in neuroanatomy and neuroscience. It will soon be made open‐source and freely available. SMtB bridges medical and traditional neuroanatomy instruction with the computational systems and representational conventions common in ...

Harmonic Analysis in One-Parameter Metabelian Nilmanifolds
Let G be a connected, simply connected one-parameter metabelian nilpotent Lie group, that means, the corresponding Lie algebra has a one-codimensional abelian subalgebra. In this article we show that G contains a discrete cocompact subgroup.

On Orbifold Criteria for Symplectic Toric Quotients
We introduce the notion of regular symplectomorphism and graded regular symplectomorphism between singular phase spaces. Our main concern is to exhibit examples of unitary torus representations whose symplectic quotients cannot be graded regularly ...

Boundary unitary representations-irreducibility and rigidity
Let $M$ be compact negatively curved manifold, $Γ=π_1(M)$ and $\tilde{M}$ be its universal cover. Denote by $B =\partial \tilde{M}$ the geodesic boundary of $\tilde{M}$ and by $ν$ the Patterson-Sullivan measure on $X$. In this note we prove that the associated unitary representation of $Γ$ on $L^2(B,ν)$ is irreducible.

Abstract Quality in early childhood education and care (ECEC) is a contested concept and has generally been conceptualised by inter‐related indicators such as staff qualifications, educational environment, policy or child‐to‐staff ratios. There has been a more limited emphasis on how young children might perceive and experience quality.

Interaction of non-Abelian tensor gauge fields
The non-Abelian tensor gauge fields take value in extended Poincaré algebra. In order to define the invariant Lagrangian we introduce a vector variable in two alternative ways: through the transversal representation of the extended Poincaré algebra and ...

ABSTRACT Policy intervention can be a driver for industrial symbiosis (IS). However, given the wide variety of policy instruments available, policymakers should be guided in the policy design process to ensure that their intervention is effective and efficient. In this paper, we propose an agent‐based (AB) model intended to assess the effectiveness and

Branching Laws for Some Unitary Representations of SL(4,R)
In this paper we consider the restriction of a unitary irreducible representation of type A_q(λ) of GL(4,R) to reductive subgroups H which are the fixpoint sets of an involution. We obtain a formula for the restriction to the symplectic group and to GL(2,

Spouted bed drying of mango peels with colloidal SiO2 and corn starch produces a free‐flowing powder with reduced agglomeration, increased drying yield, and preserved antioxidant and polyphenol content. Abstract The production of polyphenol‐rich powders is a promising strategy for valorizing agro‐industrial byproducts. This study evaluated drying yield,
