Multimodal Engagement Assessment in Children During Invented Story Paradigm With a Social Robot

A multimodal framework is proposed to assess children's engagement during storytelling interactions with a social robot. Gaze, physiological, and behavioral data are combined and validated against observer ratings. An automated gaze‐labeling strategy is introduced, and supervised classifiers achieve high accuracy. Lithium Niobate Electro‐Optic Photonic Processor for Variational Quantum Eigensolver

An integrated lithium‐niobate‐on‐insulator ququart processor implements an electro‐optically controlled photonic variational quantum eigensolver using single photons encoded in four path modes. Bell‐basis‐emulating ququart projective measurements reduce measurement settings while achieving chemical‐accuracy‐level molecular‐energy estimation.

An Extracellular Pore‑Targeting Peptide Defines a Designable Allosteric Site in TRPV2

Structure‐guided peptide engineering yields Depiv2, a highly potent and subtype‐selective TRPV2 inhibitor that binds to the extracellular pore and remodels it into a closed, non‐conductive state. Depiv2 suppresses pathological cardiac hypertrophy, establishing the TRPV2 outer pore as a designable interface for selective peptide modulation.
