A criterion for unitary similarity of upper triangular matrices in general position
Each square complex matrix is unitarily similar to an upper triangular matrix with diagonal entries in any prescribed order. Let A and B be upper triangular n-by-n matrices that (i) are not similar to direct sums of matrices of smaller sizes, or (ii) are in general position and have the same main diagonal. We prove that A and B are unitarily similar if

A criterion for unitary congruence between matrices [PDF]
A criteria for unitary congruence between matrices is discussed. Matrices are proved to be unitarily congruent and thus the verification of unitary congruence between two matrices reduces to the condition of unitary similarity between two matrix sets.

On normal and structured matrices under unitary structure-preserving transformations
Structured canonical forms under unitary and suitable structure-preserving similarity transformations for normal and (skew-)Hamiltonian as well as normal and per(skew)-Hermitian matrices are proposed.

ABSTRACT An emerging consensus calls for transformative climate governance. However, what instigates and sustains transformative pathways remains unclear. This study characterises the existence, quality and structural underpinnings of transformative governance capacities in local government climate change response in Aotearoa New Zealand, applying a ...

V magistrskem delu obravnavamo unitarne matrike in predstavljamo njihove osnovne lastnosti. Unitarne matrike služijo kot orodje za utemeljevanje splošnejših rezultatov s področja linearne algebre.

Abstract Aims Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) are the cornerstone of modern oncology; however, side effects such as ICI‐related myocarditis (irM) can be fatal. Recently, Bonaca proposed criteria for irM; however, it is unknown if they correlate well with cardiovascular (CV) ICI‐related adverse events.

Generalized inverses and similarity to partial isometries
We obtain some results related to the problems of Badea and Mbekhta (2005) [1] concerning the similarity to partial isometries using the generalized inverses. Especially, we involve the Moore–Penrose inverses.

A Two‐Step Procedure for Generating Domestic and Asymmetric Trade Costs When Data Are Scarce
ABSTRACT The practice of domestic trade cost measurement faces several challenges related to data quality, methodology and theory; but the major issue is that of data scarcity. Due to these facts, both domestic and asymmetric trade costs have been ignored despite being a feature of modern trade models.

ABSTRACT Introduction Politicized cyber shaming recodes adolescents' cultural interests as evidence of political loyalty or moral belonging. This study examines how such shaming is associated with longer‐term identity tension in adolescence, focusing on public expression, peer belonging, and self‐evaluation after politicized online controversy ...

Non-unitary transformation of conservative to dissipative evolutions
We briefly review in a general context the theory of non-unitary transformations between conservative dynamics with internal time and dissipative evolutions, developed previously in the context of statistical mechanics and apply the results to show the ...
