Bubbles Acting as Micro End‐Effectors for Dexterous Manipulation and Sensing in Aqueous Environment

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
Inspired by bubbles, this article proposes a low‐cost method for multifunctional manipulation and sensing using microbubbles in aqueous environments. Bubbles are easily generated in situ, enabling the safe and adaptive handling of microobjects and sensing of microforces and surface textures.

Delayed Halide‐Rich Molecular Passivation of CsPbCl3 Perovskite Nanocrystals Enables Bright Violet Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
POCl3 enables delayed dual passivation in CsPbCl3 nanocrystals by slowly releasing Cl‐containing and phosphonic species that heal halide vacancies and Pb‐related defects over time. This self‐healing boosts PLQY by >40‐fold, preserves efficient violet emission for over 2 months in air, and yields a record 409 cd m−2 luminance for CsPbCl3 violet LEDs ...

Border harm and affective injustice: The politics of anger at the Melilla border, Spain

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract This article examines protests in a detention center in Melilla, Spain—a site where structural violence intersects with the everyday harms of confinement. Adopting a justice and dignity‐centered perspective, we analyze grassroots forms of resistance emerging at the border. The study focuses on the protests of Tunisian migrants and explores the

Spiro‑Linked Double Tetraphenylethenes: Solid‐State Emission and Circularly Polarized Luminescence Imaging

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Two spirobisanthracene‐tetraphenylethene (SBA‐TPE) hybrid compounds are synthesized and their photophysical properties in the solid state reported. Circularly polarized luminescence in aggregates, films and dispersions is evaluated. Circularly polarized luminescence imaging is evaluated over crystals revealing discrimination of different types of ...

Memoria y Universidad

open access: yesOficios Terrestres, 2015
«Memory and university» is one of the chapters of the doctoral thesis of Carlos Vallina. As an academic memory addresses political and cultural contexts of the sixties and the seventies, and the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, as a fundamental part of this historical process of debates and political struggles, but with a look and perspectives of the ...
