However; no place was planned to exhibit the collections of specimens.

Electrical aerosol spectrometer of Tartu University
Journal of Aerosol Science, 1998The electrical aerosol spectrometer (EAS) of the parallel measuring principle at Tartu University is an efficient instrument for rapid measurement of the unstable size spectrum of aerosol particles. The measuring range from 10 nm to 10 μm is achieved by simultaneously using a pair of differential mobility analyzers with two different particle chargers.

The curriculum of economic cybernetics was one of a kind in Estonia. This interestingly called curriculum was opened at the Tartu State University (TSU) in 1967, and 25 young students of economic cybernetics were admitted. Before that some earlier scholars had also completed a similar curriculum in TSU on the basis of a special programme.

The Incidence of Osteoporotic Fractures at the University Hospital of Tartu, Estonia
Scandinavian Journal of Rheumatology, 1996The incidence of typical osteoporotic bone fractures in 1351 women of various age groups was investigated, using the records of the traumatologic service and the census data. The fracture rates of different localization according to patients age were analyzed. The life style of the patients, previous diseases, used drugs etc.

1997Estonia has a fast-developing information environment, its national medical information resources are scattered. Radical changes in medical information services (and in social, political and economic conditions) started at the beginning of the 90s, thus experience of 5 years has been gained from the functioning of the new system.
